I work in music publishing and web design. I have been working for years as a music supervisor, post-production retoucher and UI Designer specialist, and I had those great opportunities to create essential elements of a whole projects. My path through artistic direction came by being put in a position to tie these parts together for maximum effect, and maximum business results.
The Art Direction starts with a concept of an album that would need to be used for media, and driving composers into that direction, as well as designing the cover that will shape the perception of the album entirely. The aim is to bring an identity to the album that will directly put the right idea in the mind of clients, editors, or music supervisors.

Good design can be pretty, but it has to be based on a solid concept that will help make your sites much more effective and memorable. The artistic direction is the second major step in a creation of a website as it takes about 35% of the whole process.
Building musical projects where either the music is here to help realize the meaning of a film or the film is here to emphasise the story told by the music, you’ll need to unify the vision of the artist with the music. There are a variety of ways of achieving an atmosphere of time and place, but giving the tone of a music videos that unify all of its aspects is about bringing a concept.
