Retouch and Visual Effects
Work:
Retouch in advertising can be done in so many ways in order to fit the story of your project or product. Depending on what you want to express, you can you can highly retouch every part of the body, or softening skin while retaining texture. You want to avoid the bad blurring with no visible texture that looks like plastic. A high-end retouch is about softening skin by not using blur so the skin looks realistic keeping the texture and details.
Different tasks in retouching: Creating porcelain looking skin, Reshaping Facial Feature, sculpting the face, retouching hair, fixing gaps, retouching lips, whitening teeth, reducing yellowing, slimming and trimming, fixing clothes, walls, general background, etc.

Directing, and Post production
Work:
There are so many options to a music video, either you need it to be directed, edited or retouched with visual effects, or just graded.
Retouching skin or body parts are about the same level than in advertising or it can be adapted to the story of your music video. Retouch level is often what I do for big production music videos while I direct, edit and retouch on smaller projects.
Music Videos:
Beyonce, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Butch, Mariah Carey…
FOCUS ON RETOUCHING
Adapting the retouch to the story of your project
Why we retouch ?
Have you ever taken shots that looked amazing while shooting it on the camera, but once looking on the screen you start to see things/objects that ruins the idea of the shot you had? (Cables, Hair, People… I mean, there is always something on the way, especially with motion picture).
Retouching people or background are exactly the same, you can have an idea of what people are going to look like and adapting the set, the lights, and when you open the shot, every flaw, every blemish and every little imperfection you totally missed during shooting may appeared as if you red circled around it and a large arrow pointing right to it.
My work when I retouch people is to take the unflattering flaws out of them, it is to magnify them, to make them look as good as they did when they were standing in front of the camera.
Retouch is about finding the fairest line between the highly retouched and where people don’t feel good about it but if you are careful to make them look good, or perhaps just slightly better than they do in real life, the idea that you get from the person on camera is going to be translated with love.
It is amazingly powerful to have the ability to retouch but also have a responsibility to your subject to do this right.
I help you creating the best retouch for your projects.
This is what I do and I what I commit to do for you.
I am here to help you creating the best retouch for your projects so you can accomplish your goals.
